Hosmerim is a simple but deeply rooted homemade sweet in and around Karabuk. Flour roasted in butter is combined with milk, sugar, cheese or clotted cream depending on the household. Its texture varies from home to home and it may be served at breakfast or after a meal.

Recipe

    Melt butter over low heat and roast the flour until fragrant.
